Information we collect

Information you provide, including your name, email address, resume, employment history, job descriptions, instructions, and messages to us.

Order information, such as the service purchased, payment status, transaction identifiers, and billing-related records. Payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe, not stored by ApplySpan.

Basic technical information, such as device, browser, approximate location derived from IP address, referral source, and activity needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How we use information

We use your information to create and deliver the documents you request, communicate about your order, provide support, prevent misuse and fraud, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.

Resume and job-description content may be processed by carefully selected AI and technology providers solely to produce and operate the service. ApplySpan does not authorize those providers to use your content for their own advertising.

How information is shared

We share information only with service providers that help us operate ApplySpan, such as hosting, file storage, email delivery, AI processing, analytics, and payment providers; when required by law; to protect users or the service; or in connection with a business transfer.

We do not sell your resume, personal information, or job-search data. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and deletion

Automated cleanup removes application files and related order content once they are older than 30 days whenever the service processes activity. You may ask us to delete them sooner, unless we must retain limited information to resolve a dispute, prevent abuse, or comply with law.

Limited transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, and support records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting privacy@applyspan.com. We may verify your identity before completing a request.

Security, children, and changes

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No online service can promise absolute security, so please avoid uploading highly sensitive information that is not needed for your application.

ApplySpan is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We may update this policy as the service changes. Material updates will be posted here with a revised effective date.
